AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH

AutismPuzzle

April is autism awareness month. According to the latest report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 88 children fall somewhere on the autism spectrum. We know a handful of families ourselves who have children affected by autism.

This month we will share a story from an amazing mother and friend named Karen Heinike, who’s son Chaytor is autistic. Grace will also be sharing her work with autisitc children while she lived overseas.

For more information on autism and how to help spread awareness go to Autism Speaks or Light It Up Blue.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17
