Bethlehem Walk

Christmas is not just about the “jolly man” in the red suite, even though he is very nice, and we do visit Santa each year. To us, the meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth and life of Jesus. If you have never been to the Bethlehem Walk, located in Manakin, Virginia, you need to check it out. They put on a wonderful production. The best part for families is that it is interactive…and free. No worrying if your child will sit in a chair for two hours watching a play, because you are moving from scene to scene.

Our attempt to entertain our babies (and ourselves) during the two hour wait. Honestly the wait didn’t feel horrible – with good friends time flies.

Our attempt to take a group selfie

Saturday December 7th, 2013 4-9pm

Sunday December 8th, 2013 3-8pm

Here is their website for directions and more information.
