The kids make their first Gingerbread Houses!

Having kids gives you the excuse to do all kinds of fun things, especially around christmas time!

Our church had its annual “Christmas Mansions” and finally we were able to go because Jolie was old enough to enjoy it. We had loads of fun making gingerbread houses while the kids ate graham crackers, tried to sneak gummy bears, crawled around under the tables, and had so much fun with friends.

It was a little intimidating making a gingerbread house next to a slightly OCD real estate agent. And yes, mine looks like a 3 year old made it especially compared to those perfectly color-coordinated m&m tiles. IMG_2330 IMG_2331 IMG_2332

Seriously, kids make Christmas so much fun, and having friends to celebrate with is a blessing. Next stop, Santa! I secretly hope Jolie is a little terrified because those are always the best santa photos.
