Caleb’s actual birthday fell on a Tuesday, and since we already had his party, I struggled to think of a way to make this day special. So I thought, “What would make me feel special on my birthday?” With help from my wonderful husband, we stayed up pretty late and decorated every room downstairs with left over items from Caleb’s party. When Caleb woke up he knew something was different with our house. He smiled all day, as he kept forgetting there were streamers on the ceiling and doorways. He had a very special day.
As soon as Caleb saw the streamers on the stairs he couldn’t help but smile.
He found the goods.
Being one is exhausting…
