Hi friends. It’s me, Caleb. I wanted to update you on what I have been up to these past few months. I’m 18 months old today. I have grown up a lot since my last blog post. I talk all the time now. My parents can finally understand what I’m saying…at least some of the time. My parents counted and said I can clearly say 35+ words. including baby, outside, hot, me, and bubbles.
On top of learning how to say more words, I have a great imagination too. I like to pretend to do chores like my parents. My favorite is to pretend that I can sweep like my mommy and iron clothes like my daddy. I also like to pretend to eat food. I will share it if you say “some” or “please.” That’s what my parents always say when I want something, so I like to make them say it when I give them food.
I love to pray before every meal. The best part is when my parents say, “Amen!” because I can shout that part really loud; unless we are in public, then I have to say it in my inside voice.
I’m going to be a big brother shortly after I turn 2. I’m not exactly sure what that means yet, but I do know that mommy has a baby in her belly. I also can say sissay and brubba. Mommy and daddy think it’s really cute when I say that, so I say it a lot.
This is a few of my favorite things about being 18 months old.

I’m really good at using my fork and eating off plates.
