This dessert was created out of a sweet-tooth craving, with very little ingredients. I’ve been dealing with some major grocery shopping slacking, so my kitchen is bare. Which is what lead to the making of this yummy, slightly healthy (sort of not) creation. I’m just going to let you know now, the end result won’t be the prettiest thing you have ever made, but it tastes good!
What does C.H.O.P. stand for? All of the ingredients – that’s what! Chocolate, honey, oatmeal, and peanut butter. Notice my sweet little acronym?
What you will need:
Chocolate chips as desired (I used only enough to barely fill a small ramekin)
Peanut butter – 1/3 cup
Oatmeal – 1 cup
Honey – 1/3 cup
In a medium-sized bowl, melt the peanut butter and honey in a microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and place back in the microwave for another 30 seconds. You will know the mixture is ready when it is melted and easy to stir. Then, in the same bowl, add the oatmeal. Once the ingredients are combined, place them in a small serving dish and evenly flatten them to the dish. Then microwave the desired amount of chocolate (it only took 1 minute for mine to melt), stir until there are no lumps, and pour over the oatmeal goodness.
